..so my time off work is coming to an end. [ blah ]

lots of things have been running thru my mind .. plenty of things to think about when your a new mom . i know now more then ever that my next move MUST be my best move not only for me but for my daughter.

being a mom; brings an unforseen sense of responsibility and accountability .. and now that i have to go back to a job that doesnt pay what i would need and that i dont even like jus reassures me that its time to take steps in another direction; its definitely time to get serious and make somethings happen ..

so with that being said; its onnnnnn !

im a mom or MILF (aha); [scroll down to previous post - where i said id wait until never - scratch that] a single mom at that to a 3wk today little girl named Caidyn [pronounced Kay - Den] shes absolutely amazing . most beautiful child ive ever laid eyes on. but thats what all moms say about thier kids right ? right .

im seriously working on getting my new blog up and running; was to be named [the bella vida] but .. thats under debate. i havent set on a name; i already have the blogspot jus dont know if im gonna run with it yet .

New Baby; Avery

So after I got off of work last night I spent about 11 hours at the hospital with my friend Sabrina. In labor. Having a REAL LIVE kid. You know living, breathing, screaming child. Okay so I know she’s been pregnant for like 9 months and all but that `ish was surreal. Like all those little outfits have a person to go on now. Ahhhh ! Anywhoo, I don’t like hospitals. I don’t like blood. When the nurse asked who was gonna stay in the room and hold a leg I almost lost my intestines. Uhmm.. No thanks, I’m sure my shrieks and “OhMaGosshhh’s”s probably would’ve gotten me kicked out any who .. I can totally be the support system through the whole process but I don’t think I ever want to hold a hand or a leg for that matter while it’s actually going down. I just can’t do it. Mentally, physically or emotionally. Ewwwww ! A Kid covered in blood, juices and slime is not my idea of exciting, entertaining or anything of the like. Its official I can totally wait to have kids, and when I do they can just cut me and pull it out! I don’t wanna go through labor or contractions, pushing, none of that .. So maybe as previously stated I can just wait until never. I like buying baby stuff though I think I got Avery like 4 outfits on the way to the hospital .. and then while she was pushing we went and got him another .. oh well; he’ll need it!

So I'm some what of a music head. I love GOOD music. I dont listen to the ready very often so I dont really hear that stuff. I still go out and buy CD's when I get the urge for some new music. Last week I went to visit my friend Sean Rose (check him out in the j'adore section), and I got a few new songs for Izzy (my ipod), one of which was "First Date Sex" a remix of Jeremih's "Birthday Sex" by Trey Songz. I am in absolute LOVE. My brothers girlfriend mentioned to me that Trey Songz is like the R&B Mixtape "King" I didnt even know he made mixtapes! I was trying to remember if I had ever heard any remakes of songs done by him and none came to mind but, now Im hungry for some Trey Songz music. How come no one told me ! Thats my mission for the day to find all of the Trey Songz mixtapes and add them to the Ipod asap !

Okay; so I follow LaLa on twitter. It wouldnt hurt to follow me @osojazy, but anywhoo, she had been tweetin` about something she did and wanted all of us to see, yaddi yadda-blah blah, so yesterday while I'm on the road home from cali she tweets this pic of her side buzz cut, now I'm no hater by any means, but .. Cassie did it before her and hers uhmm .. didn't inspire me in the least. I mean it just wasnt cute to me. Now seen again on LaLa I have to say I kinda like it. I think its madd funky and deserves like a kudo or something. All the gossip sites are talkin` about how LaLa is "jockin" Cassie but .. Kelis (whom I absolutely adore) did it before her, not to say she was the first but I notice more and more that alot of the things that Kelis did before are resurfacing DAILY ie; RiRi and her short cut, Beyonces big'ol weave shes been rockin`. Kelis is legendary and doesnt get enough credit.

Hmm.. sometimes I wish I was one of those “artsy fartsy” people that could draw and sew and stuff because I would probably make some of the coolest stuff any of you good people have ever seen; like this killer jacket (pictured above) I saw on fruition (http://shop.fruitionlv.com/ ) or maybe this cool little get up I seen on TrendDoll (check the link on the j’adore list), even when I see what people are wearing on the street I wonder what the inspiration was for the outfit. Sometimes I see themes that I would love to recreate but I can never really find the stuff I envision so if I had the right stuff and knew how to sew it would be sooooo cool ! My wardrobe would be soo Live! ooh ! ..hmm maybe ill like take a sewing class and learn how to like make something .. Then I'll become the next Versace or Dior or something. (lol;yeah not so much but hey it sounded good)

I'm not exactly sure how they entered my life but theres something about a tutu that makes me feel like a princess. I'm not exactly sure if they are "in-style" right now or what but, there are not many pieces in my wardrobe that people can say they've seen me in more than once but, I love my tutu. I've worn it different ways and it has proven to be one of the more versatile pieces in my wardrobe. Dressed up or down .. I LOVE my tutu !

As I mentioned last post my brother is now a member of the Kappa Xi chapter of Omega Psi Phi Inc. and although I've kind of been around fraternities and sororities in the past I didnt really understand the full extent of what it meant. Now that my brother is a member I see more of the Greek culture and I can honestly say that I have a new found respect for the men and women that have gone Greek. So this post is just a kudos to all the Greek men and women out there and a congrats to my brother Korey aka Gladiator QUE !

Schools out! This means that my work life slows down dramatically. Thankfully because it gets crazy around these parts and a break is much needed and deserved. We get “summer hours” aka 6-12:30. So that means that I get my life during the summer.. Oh the blissful feel of freeness. It’s short lived though I only get like a month and my do I appreciate it. I don’t have any BIG plans for the summer though. Just a few little get aways, I might be going to Midland, TX next week with my auntie but idk about that yet, July I’m hoping to get to Atlanta, and August I’m hitting Detroit. Nothings set in stone. I have to wait all the way until the end of the summer to be 21 and that’s still being planned at the moment so stay tuned! New York after I turn 21 and hopefully my chicas will join in for that!

Hmm; maybe I should catch up on exciting stuff that I missed blogging about. My brother had his probate a couple weeks ago, he is now a part of Omega Psi Phi Inc. Kappa Xi Chapter. His probate show was amazing. I was so proud of him. Gladiator Que is the name he was given awesome right? I know I know! What else? Oh yeah Brina’s baby shower was Saturday it was fun. I didn’t win anything but my mom made a killing. Geez, that just reminds me I hate not winning stuff!
Well I’m off to some training aka a way to get out of the office. I will blog again soon. Oh yeah and post pics from the probate and babyshower. I don’t have time now. Ciao Bellas.

Negligence to my blog is inacceptable. I know but things have been going a mile a minute in every direction. Sorry. I’m back and ready to be the best blogger I can be! ;)

So the latest stuff;
I missed the very last episode of CandyGirls; and I still haven’t seen it because it hasn’t come back on since that last Sunday. Grrr. The bees knees. I will see it tonight though; I’m going to babysit JellzBellz so DVR here I come. I started math 208 and it’s a piece of cake so far, math is easier for me. I think because it’s the least amount of effort. Writing is too many steps. (well writing for school is)

Someone hit my car; I don’t think I am able to express in words my true feelings of aggravation when it comes to this whole topic. PEOPLE: if you hit someone’s car (especially mine) the whole “there’s no damage” spiel is worthless. Give your insurance info and shut up! Ugh, I wanted to slap the guy that hit me. I was completely stopped at a red light when he slammed into the back of my car. The way it sounded I thought my trunk was in my backseat, I couldn’t even turn around to look. Then he wreaked of alcohol. Ugh..

I kinda took on a new look with the hair as well. I have a Keri Hilson, Rihanna-esque bob. This will be gone soon as well no worries. I’m like a chameleon with the hair, gotta try new stuff constantly. However, summer is here and its about to get hot and I will be bothered. So I think I’m going to a sew-in for the summer.. with the bang. Long. Sex Kitten kinda thing. (lol) Im soooo not a sex kitten .. in public! ;)

Today is day one of “No going out” month. Let’s see how far this goes. I think I can, I think I can. In other news, Christian Louboutin is my OMG I gotta have it moment. While perusing my usual fashion blogs I keep seeing them. The shoes with the red soles. My goal is to have one pair by Christmas! Yeah we shall see how that goes, hopefully better than expected. I have a bunch of things I want to do by the end of the year so .. why not start a list right?

4. Finish my UOP classes with decent grades to transfer to UNLV

So I was starting to think about what Im gonna be doing this weekend, and as of yet I just want to see the movie Obsessed w/Beyonce Knowles. I've been seeing the previews everytime I go to the movies and Im excited, havent confirmed whether or not it will be a date night or not but, either way I have to see this movie THIS weekend. Im not too sure if I am an extreme fan of Beyonce and her acting skills, but the previews for this one definitely latched me in and I will definitely be dishing my 10.50 for this one !

Yesterday was hair and nail day; but I only got as far as my hair .. I have to go back today for my nails. Which isnt a problem because Cafe` Salon is my home away from home. I will post pictures later of the hair and nails.

Which leads me to the question.. Are your personal upkeep needs being placed on hold due to the current economic recession?
